What was in that stuff? (story update!)

Now, I decided to go for something new. And it turned out pretty awesome!

This is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now, and I finally found the perfect chance to do it.

It was a cloudy afternoon when Balance Blade was just coming out of a party shop. He wanted to have a little something to be entretained with, so he bought a small bubble solution container with the letters "XL" on them. He wasn't quite sure why those letters were there; the container wasn't that big. It was probably the brand of the product. After a little walking, he came across his friend Rose Thorn.

Rose Thorn: Hey blade! How are ya?

Balance Blade: Pretty good! I was just coming out of a store with this.

He showed the item to her, and she was very eager to try out the solution too.

Rose Thorn: Is that bubble soap? Can I try it with you?

Balance Blade: Of course! We can have fun with it!

Rose Thorn: Awesome! And I know the perfect spot to try them out, follow me!

They both walked for a few minutes until they both arrived at a plain area, with a few trees around, and a lot of room to try the solution out. After they arrived, Balance Blade opened the container and there was a bubble wand with a different shape than the regular ones. The round part of it was a bit smaller than the container's bottom. So without waiting much, he dipped the wand in the solution and blew a few bubbles with it. They were perfectly round shaped, though they both noticed it wasn't as transparent as the normal ones. When rosie tried to pop one of them, the small bubble bounced right off her hoof instead of popping, then she noticed another one was sitting on top of her tail without popping either. Balance blade waved the wand into the air, making more bubbles, then he tried to pop one with his hoof, but it bounced off too. After that, he poked one of the bubbles with his horn, and it was strong enough to pop it. Finally, after a few minutes, Rosie had an idea.

Rose Thorn: Hey, why don't you try to blow a big one?

Balance Blade: I don't know. I might not be able to make big ones without them popping...

Rose Thorn: Aww, come on! You saw they were strong. I really doubt they will pop like that, and we can bounce one around like a beach ball!

Balance Blade: Ok then, I'll try to make a big one.

With the idea of making a beachball in mind, Balance Blade inhales deeply, closes his eyes and blows into the wand, making a bubble that was quickly growing and becoming large. It soon reached the size of an actual beachball, but when rosie saw his eyes closed, she decided to make it bigger.

Rose Thorn: Keep going Blade, it's looking good!

Without noticing, Balance Blade keeps blowing into the wand, making the bubble even bigger, until the bubble separated from the wand. Then, when he opened his eyes, he opened his mouth in awe as he saw he made the bubble as big as himself. Rosie was really happy when the bubble was floating in front of them.

Rose Thorn: Wow, it's huge!

Balance Blade: Now I understand what the letters "XL" mean...

Rosie turned around to face him and was really happy for such an achievement. But she didn't notice that the bubble was moving closer to her. Blade noticed the bubble, started to take a few steps back, and tried to warn rosie.

Balance Blade: Ehh... Rosie?

Rose Thorn: I know, we made a huge beachball!

Balance Blade: No, it's not that...

Rose Thorn: I wonder how many hits it can take...

Balance Blade: Rosie, turn around...

Rose Thorn: Huh?

Right as Rosie turned around, the bubble already reached her, and her face smooshed into the bubble. Almost immediately, she tried to push the bubble away from her with her front hooves, but when she did, the bubble stretched instead of moving away; her muzzle was stuck in the soapy layer. Then, Rosie lost balance, the bubble snapped back into it's round form, and it pulled Rosie with it, making her hit the bubble with enough strength to go right through the not-so-thin layer, and fall inside of it. She felt something soft when she hit the ground. The bubble started to float off the ground when that happened, and when Rosie regained her balance, she found herself stuck inside the bubble. She was surprised it was strong enough that it could hold her weight, and elastic enough to not pop from her hooves pushing against it. Surprisingly, it also had enough grip to stand on without falling over. Balance Blade kept watching, shocked in surprise at what he just saw. The bubble didn't float very high up when it stopped.

Rose Thorn: Uhh, Blade? What was in that stuff?

Balance Blade: I don't know... I'm just as surprised as you...

Rose Thorn: Where exactly did you buy this soap?

Balance Blade: I bought it from a party shop. When I went to buy some cookie cheesecakes, I asked a pink pony if she could recommend me an item to have a good time, and she told me I should buy this bubble solution. She also told me it was going to give me an "enchanting time".

Rose Thorn: Well, I guess this explains the enchanting part of it...

Balance Blade: And I wanted to share some of those cheesecakes too...

Rose Thorn: Don't worry, I'm having a blast with you! This is really fun!

Balance Blade: Wait, don't you want me to pop the bubble? Implying I don't get trapped inside too, I can pop the bubble with my horn if you want.

Rose Thorn: Nah, I'm fine. Besides, I've always wanted my own space bubble!
